Audi is set to unveil a new higher-performance version of the TT two-seater at the Detroit auto show next week. But a Spanish website, www.motorpasion.com, appears to have helped the automaker get an early start on showing the new production car to the world.
The website on Tuesday published photos of the Audi TT-S, which will be sold in coupe and convertible forms.
According to the site, the TT-S gets a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes something in the neighborhood of 272 hp. It is expected to go on sale as a 2009 model.
We’ll get you more details when we get them.
